TQNC Housing Policy Advocacy Group Working Session

Housing Policy Advocacy Group Working Session

To enable easier access, this meeting will be a virtual/in-person hybrid meeting — join us in person Downtown (RSVP for address), or via Zoom.

The TQNC Housing Policy Advocacy Group arose based on consistent feedback from TQNC Community Connection attendees & member surveys over the course of 7+ months that housing is the most urgent advocacy area in dire need of action.

We’re currently working on two initial advocacy campaigns:

1) Boston Trans Youth Shelter

2) Right to Counsel (legal representation for tenants facing eviction)

And we’re working together following a “just fucking do shit” attitude, while welcoming anyone who wants to participate, regardless of knowledge or experience. Our working sessions are collaborative groups — you’ll get to learn from, work with, and contribute to the conversation however works for you.

We hosted Senator Lydia Edwards, Chair of the MA Legislature Housing Committee, for a Housing Policy Roundtable
